Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) one of their most favored television couples.
